Sandra Burgers

Sandra Burgers has a diverse background in community service and education. Currently, as a Community Volunteer at Rotary International and Rose Brooks Center Inc., Sandra supports youth exchange programs and assists children dealing with domestic abuse. Previous roles include Local Coordinator for Academic Year in America, where Sandra matched foreign exchange students with host families and acted as a liaison. In education, Sandra served as a Paraeducator and Paraprofessional at Shawnee Mission School District, modifying curricula for special-needs students. Early career experience includes being a Daycare Provider and a Cosmetologist/Manager at Hair Design by Don & Company, complemented by a Licentiate degree in Cosmetology from Nettleton Academy of Hair Design.
