In 2001, they enrolled in the Modular Education Program for Activity Professionals 1 at DH Special Services. The following year, they continued their education in the Modular Education Program for Activity Professionals 2, also at DH Special Services. In 2012, Kevin pursued a degree in Remotivational Therapy at the National Remotivational Therapy Organization. Additionally, they obtained certifications including a Remotivational Therapy Trainer certification from the National Remotivational Therapy Organization in 2014, an Activity Director Certifies ADC/EDU/MC/ALF certification from the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals in 2006, and a Homemaker - HHA certification from the State of New Jersey Board of Nursing in 1998.

The owner, Mr. Andrew Shawn, has been an Administrator for over 35 years and holds a Masters Degree in Administration form Fairleigh Dickinson University. Ms. Jacqueline Thomson is a Licensed Administrator and Certified Social Worker who earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration. She has been on the Rose Garden team for over 20 years. Our Nursing Department is overseen by Mrs. Alicia Fereno, who achieved a Masters Degree in Nursing and has guided our nursing department for well over two decades. Stability and continuity are the cornerstones of our ability to provide exemplary care. Our Rehabilitation Department is comprised of seasoned professionals who have a depth and range of knowledge and skills spanning many years of experience in physical, occupational, and speech therapy. The individual care plan is designed to meet your specific post-operative and orthopedic needs to achieve your goal of independence and returning home. Our cuisine is that of a fine restaurant. The Rose Garden Culinary Department is under the direction of Mr. Ira Levine, A culinary professional with over 20 years of experience in several upscale restaurants, with a unique blend of creative flair and a passion for food. During your stay at Rose Garden our recreation staff and environmental services team ensure that your social surroundings are pleasant and homelike. When it is time to return to your home our professional social workers will make sure that your transition is comfortable and safe.
