Kevin Bassinder

Kevin Bassinder has a diverse work experience in the field of activities and events management. Kevin has held various roles in different organizations, including Director of Special Events and Marketing at Rose Garden Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, where they created unique and memorable events while also marketing the facility as a top destination. Kevin has also served as Vice President and Treasurer at the New Jersey Activity Professionals Association, where they assisted in administrative duties, oversaw finances, and updated bylaws. Kevin has been involved in the activity professional community, serving as the Web Site Chairman/Social Media at NJAPA and President of Monmouth & Ocean Counties Activity Professionals. Additionally, they have experience in home care and assistance with Right at Home and has managed activities departments in various assisted living communities. Kevin Bassinder attended Ocean County College in Toms River, NJ from 1989 to 1990, where they studied Accounting and Business/Management. In 2001, they enrolled in the Modular Education Program for Activity Professionals 1 at DH Special Services. The following year, they continued their education in the Modular Education Program for Activity Professionals 2, also at DH Special Services. In 2012, Kevin pursued a degree in Remotivational Therapy at the National Remotivational Therapy Organization. Additionally, they obtained certifications including a Remotivational Therapy Trainer certification from the National Remotivational Therapy Organization in 2014, an Activity Director Certifies ADC/EDU/MC/ALF certification from the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals in 2006, and a Homemaker - HHA certification from the State of New Jersey Board of Nursing in 1998.
