Software Engineer at Rose Rocket

Adams Banjo has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Adams started their career as a Web Developer Intern at Swap Space Systems Ltd in September 2017. They were later hired as a Software Engineer and worked on building and maintaining software solutions for various clients. In this role, they also contributed to the development of an advert server for taxis using technologies like React Native and RabbitMQ.

In 2019, Adams joined MAX.NG as a Software Engineer, where they played a significant role in expanding the mobility service to accommodate different types of vehicles and extending services to new cities, resulting in job opportunities for riders and increased access for customers. They additionally designed and built a promotion service to incentivize more customers to use the company's services.

From 2020 to 2021, Adams worked as a Back End Developer at gomoney, where they focused on building efficient and transparent digital banking services. They also led the expansion of services to cater to customers from other countries and regions and extended core banking services as third-party APIs for external parties.

Starting in 2021, Adams joined Briza as a Software Engineer, where their responsibilities included reviewing and implementing carrier integrations onto the Briza platform, maintaining and upgrading existing integrations, and building internal tooling to expedite development.

Currently, Adams is a Software Engineer at Rose Rocket, starting in 2023.

Adams Banjo completed their Bachelor of Technology degree in Microbiology, General from the Ondo State University of Science and Technology. Adams attended this university from 2010 to 2016.

In addition to their bachelor's degree, Adams Banjo has also obtained several certifications. In December 2020, they achieved the "CIMA Cert BA" certification from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). Adams further obtained the "Verified International Academic Qualifications" certification from World Education Services in October 2020.

Moreover, Adams Banjo completed the "Google Re-skilling Africa Program" offered by Pluralsight in December 2018. Adams also participated in the "Google Africa Mobile Web Development Course" provided by Andela in August 2018.

Recently, in March 2023, Adams Banjo completed the course "Mastering the System Design Interview" offered by Udemy.
