Hugh Soong

Hugh Soong began their work experience in 2008 as an Investment IT Project Analyst at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan. Hugh then worked at Deloitte Digital from 2010 to 2018, where they held the role of Manager. During this time, they were involved in product strategy, user experience design, and software development. In 2018, they joined RBC Ventures as the Director of Technology and also became a Technical Co-Founder at Get Digs. In 2020, Hugh Soong became the Head of Engineering at Ownr. Currently, they are the Engineering Manager at Rose Rocket.

Hugh Soong completed their education with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo from 2005 to 2010. After that, they pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Business Administration degree with Distinction from the Ivey Business School at Western University, completing it in 2014.
