Tanisha Long

Tanisha Long is an experienced educator and laboratory professional with a strong background in science instruction and laboratory management. Currently serving as a Middle School Science Teacher at Roselle Borough Public Schools since October 2018, Tanisha develops engaging, hands-on lessons for 8th grade students, effectively manages classroom dynamics, and collaborates with colleagues to provide differentiated instruction. Prior experience includes teaching positions at Paterson Public Schools and a long-term substitute role at Roselle Borough Public Schools. Tanisha's earlier career in the medical field includes roles as a Laboratory Manager and Medical Technologist at The Blood Center of New Jersey and the New York Blood Center, where responsibilities included overseeing lab operations, performing quality control, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Tanisha holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Monmouth University.
