David Tastor

IB English A: Language And Literature Teacher at Roseville Joint Union High School District

David Tastor is an experienced educator with over two decades of teaching expertise in various roles, currently serving as an IB English A: Language and Literature Teacher at Roseville Joint Union High School District since August 1999. Tastor has designed and implemented curricula, mentored fellow educators, and taught advanced courses in language and literature, with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. In addition, Tastor is involved with the International Baccalaureate as a Site Visitor and Workshop Leader, contributing to curriculum development and teacher training in World Religions. With prior experience as an AP Literature Teacher at Folsom Cordova Unified School District and Granite Bay Test Prep, Tastor also advises students on SAT and ACT preparation and college essay writing. Educational qualifications include a BA in English Literature from the University of San Diego and a Single Subject Teaching Credential from California State University, Fullerton.

Roseville Joint Union High School District

The Roseville Joint Union High School District serves the educational needs of more than 10,000 students. Geographically, the district includes the city of Roseville, the Granite Bay community, and a part of Antelope. It includes portions of both Placer and Sacramento counties. The district currently operates six comprehensive high schools, a continuation school, adult school, and an independent study school. Our high schools are responsible for educating students from three local "partner"​ K-8 school districts: Dry Creek, Eureka, and Roseville City school districts.
