Roseville Joint Union High School District
Kalina Moore currently serves as a High School Science Teacher at Roseville Joint Union High School District, teaching various courses including PLTW Principles of Biomedical Science and AP Biology, while also holding the position of CTE Department Chair. Kalina has received multiple accolades including the Teacher of the Year Nominee at Antelope High School in 2023 and the "Teacher Who Makes a Difference" Award in 2020. In addition to teaching, Kalina coordinates the Biomedical/Clinical Internship program, partnering with local medical facilities to provide students with hands-on experience in the healthcare industry. Prior experience includes teaching high school Biology and Honors Biology at Beverly Hills Unified School District and serving as a substitute teacher at Roseville Joint Union High School. Kalina holds a BS in Biology from the University of California, Riverside, an MA in Secondary Education from the University of Phoenix, and has completed Continuing Teacher Education at the University of La Verne.

The Roseville Joint Union High School District serves the educational needs of more than 10,000 students. Geographically, the district includes the city of Roseville, the Granite Bay community, and a part of Antelope. It includes portions of both Placer and Sacramento counties. The district currently operates six comprehensive high schools, a continuation school, adult school, and an independent study school. Our high schools are responsible for educating students from three local "partner" K-8 school districts: Dry Creek, Eureka, and Roseville City school districts.
