Wolfgang Baermann

Wolfgang Baermann has extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Wolfgang currently holds the position of Senior Director Finance Business Partner EAMEC at Rosewood Hotel Group since 2021. Prior to this, they founded and served as the Managing Director of ZW & Company from 2018 to 2021, where they provided strategic and operational consulting services. Wolfgang also worked at Hyatt Hotels Corporation for a significant portion of their career, taking on various roles such as Regional Director - Finance Special Projects, Director of Finance Strategic Process, Design and Implementation, and Assistant Director of Finance - Shared Services International. Additionally, they served as the Resident Director of Finance at Grand Hyatt Berlin and held positions at Hyatt Regency Cologne and The Lowndes - a Hyatt Hotel earlier in their career. Throughout their roles, they demonstrated expertise in financial management, process optimization, and business development.

Wolfgang Baermann obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in International Hospitality Management from EHL in the years 1990-1993. Prior to that, they also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, and Business Economics from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce Lausanne between 1986-1989. In addition, Baermann has obtained certifications in Tableau Desktop Specialist, Fintech, Lucidchart Essentials, Innovative Design & Thinking, and Leading through Virtual Teams from various institutions in different years.
