Sara Mei

Sara Mei is currently a volunteer staff member in the child life department at Boston Medical Center since December 2022. Additionally, Sara works as a student researcher at Boston University School of Medicine, focusing on pharmacology, genetics, and pediatric cancer therapeutics. Experience as a patient care technician at Emerson Hospital encompasses pediatrics, med surg, and bariatrics/GI since August 2022. Previous volunteer experience includes working as a cook and server at Rosie's Place and shadowing internal medicine at Cambridge Health Alliance. From August 2021 to January 2023, Sara served as a swim instructor and lifeguard at North Suburban YMCA. Sara is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at Boston University, expected to graduate in 2026, after obtaining a high school diploma from Lexington High School in 2022.
