Andrew Julius Bende

Andrew Julius Bende has extensive experience in international development, education, and technology, serving as an External Lecturer at Roskilde University since October 2025. Prior roles include Senior Associate for the Global Markets Initiative at BioInnovation Institute, focusing on making scientific breakthroughs accessible in Low and Middle-Income Countries. In addition, Andrew has contributed as Board Treasurer and member for CISU, providing insights from the Global South. Previous positions include Strategic Advisor at Promentum, IT Advisor at Civil Connections IVS, and leadership roles in various NGOs. Educational qualifications include two master's degrees in African Studies and Public Policy and Management, along with certifications in project management and technical consulting.
