Anya Umantseva

Anya Umantseva is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Roskilde University, focusing on nature-based solutions within the TRANS-lighthouses project since January 2019. Previously, Anya contributed as a Research Assistant in the RE:ERUA Project, emphasizing Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) through good governance and public engagement initiatives. Anya completed a PhD candidate program in the Horizon 2020 RurAction project on social entrepreneurship in rural regions from January 2019 to December 2022. Prior experiences include roles as a Gender Researcher at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) and as an intern at the UNODC, alongside a position as a Junior Project Manager at Nomitek. Anya's educational background includes a Master's degree in Intercultural/Multicultural and Diversity Studies from KU Leuven and a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics from Tomsk State University.
