Aske Kammer is an Associate Professor of Journalism Studies at Roskilde University since August 2022 and is currently on the promotion program toward Full Professorship. Prior to this role, Aske served as the Director of the Center for Media and Innovation and Senior Associate Professor in Media Innovation at Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole from August 2020 to July 2022. Other notable positions include Chair of SMiD, the Association of Media Researchers in Denmark, and Head of Studies at IT-Universitetet i København, where Aske held the equivalent position of Dean for Education from August 2016 to July 2020. Aske's earlier academic career includes roles as an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Journalism, University of Southern Denmark, and various lecturing and research positions at Københavns Universitet, alongside experience in project leadership and research assistance in the field of media studies. Aske holds an MA in Media Studies and a BA in Film & Media Studies, both from Københavns Universitet.
