Ulrik Schmidt

Ulrik Schmidt is an academic with extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as an Associate Professor at Roskilde University since November 2013, after previously holding the position of Assistant Professor. Prior roles include a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Copenhagen from September 2011 to November 2013, and an Academic Fellow at the Department of English, Germanic and Romance at the University of Copenhagen in early 2011. Ulrik Schmidt completed a Ph.D. at Københavns Universitet in 2010 with the dissertation titled 'The Ambient - Sensation, Mediatization, Environment,' following a Cand.mag. in Modern Culture and a B.A. in Sociology from the same institution. Additional undergraduate studies in Musicology were undertaken at Aarhus University.
