Niamh Hyland has a diverse work experience in scientific and academic roles. Niamh began their career as a Supermarket Assistant at Waitrose in 2016. In the same year, they also served as an Assistant Coach for the Junior Squad at Twickenham Rowing Club, where they designed coaching sessions and ensured the safety of the members.

In 2019, Niamh joined Stockholm University as a Student Research Assistant, working on characterizing interactions between lymphocytes, lactobacilli, and staphylococcal enterotoxins. Niamh developed skills in immunological lab techniques such as cell culture, ELISA, and flow cytometry. Niamh continued as a Student Researcher at the Institute of Molecular Biology until 2020.

In 2021, Niamh worked as a Placement Student at the University of Exeter Medical School for a short period. Niamh then pursued their MSc at the School of Biological Sciences, University of Edinburgh, from 2021 to 2022. Following that, they joined the Centre for Regenerative Medicine at the University of Edinburgh as an MSc Student in 2022.

Currently, Niamh is employed as a Laboratory Technician in Cell Banking at Roslin Technologies since September 2022. Niamh has recently taken on the role of Scientist in Quality Control as well.

Niamh Hyland has a diverse education history. Niamh began their academic journey at Waldegrave School, where they completed their secondary education from 2009 to 2017. Following this, in 2017, they enrolled at the University of Exeter, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Sciences, which they completed in 2021. During the same year, they also obtained a Diploma in Sports Massage from St Mary's University, Twickenham.

Currently, Niamh is furthering their education at The University of Edinburgh, where they are pursuing a Master of Science by Research (MScR) in Biomedical Sciences. This program began in 2021 and is expected to conclude in 2022. Overall, Niamh's education history showcases their dedication to the field of biomedical sciences and their strong academic pursuits.
