Alexander Badnin

Alexander Badnin has extensive work experience in project management, investment analysis, and M&A transactions. Alexander has worked as a Project Management Executive at Rosneft, where they were responsible for strategy development, valuation, transaction documentation, deal structuring, and due diligence. At JSC RUSNANO, they served as an Investment Director, coordinating with stakeholders and sourcing investment projects. In their role as an Investment Director at Basic Element, they focused on pre-investment analysis of startup projects. Prior to that, they worked as an M&A Project Manager at Gazprom Neft and an Investment Manager at Gazprombank. Alexander began their career at Deloitte as a Treasury Manager and later worked at MTS Group as a Treasury Specialist.

Alexander Badnin has a qualification upgrade course in Accounting and Finance from The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA), completed in 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Specialist degree in Finance, General from the International Independent University of Environmental and Political Sciences (Academy IIUEPS) in 2004. Currently, they are pursuing a Postgraduate Degree in Management from the Russian Foreign Trade Academy, which started in 2022.
