Boris Gilinskiy has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Boris started their career at TOTAL as a Production Support Engineer and later became a Production Superintendent. Boris then joined Salym Petroleum Development as a Contracts Engineer for wells before moving to Alderley Plc as the Head of the Russian Office. Boris then returned to Salym Petroleum Development as a Senior Contracts Engineer for wells. Boris then worked at TNK BP as a Senior Project Manager and later as the Head of the Infrastructure Engineering Section in the Major Projects and Engineering Department. Boris then joined BP as a Projects & Engineering Advisor, where they were responsible for engineering support and concept development for BP's Upstream operations in Russia. Currently, Boris is a Procurement Projects Manager at Rosneft, where they are responsible for implementing category management strategies for various process equipment sourcing projects.

Boris Gilinskiy has a strong background in education and obtained several degrees. Boris first attended Moscow Chemical Engineering University from 1988 to 1994, where they received a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) with a focus on the design of oil refining equipment. Boris then pursued further education and attended the French Petroleum Institute, known as Ecole Nationale Supérieure du Pétrole et des Moteurs/IFP, in Paris, France from 1995 to 1996. During their time there, they earned a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) with a specialization in oil and gas production. Later, Boris attended the Moscow International Higher Business School MIRBIS (Institute) from 2001 to 2004, where they successfully completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in the field of operations management and supervision.

In addition to their degrees, Boris Gilinskiy also obtained certifications to enhance their skills. Boris obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in November 2014. Additionally, they acquired the EF SET English proficiency level C2 certification, demonstrating their high level of English proficiency.
