Franz Fuder has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry spanning over several decades. Franz began their career at Veba Oil in 1992, where they worked as a Team Leader in the Research and Development Department. Franz also gained experience as a Software Engineer in the IT department and later as a Process Manager in the R&D department.
In 2000, Franz joined BP and took on the role of Project Manager in R&D, where they worked on developing new processes for refining products and hydrogen production. Franz then moved on to be a part of the IST Coordination Team, responsible for evaluating and planning optimal crude blends for European refineries. Franz also managed the commercial performance of Gelsenkirchen and coordinated the triangle of planner, asset economist, and asset trader.
In 2006, Franz joined BP Oil International as an Economist, where they evaluated and planned optimal crude blends for European refineries. Franz was also responsible for the commercial performance of the European refinery and driving projects to increase asset flexibility.
In 2011, Franz joined BP Refining & Petrochem. Bochum as the Team Lead for the three German non-operated JV refineries. Franz was a member of the operational board and responsible for running the refineries on a daily basis, identifying projects to improve economics and utilization, and making monthly plan and feedstock decisions.
Most recently, in 2017, Franz joined Rosneft as the Refinery Site Planning & Coordination Manager. Unfortunately, specific details of their roles and responsibilities in this position are not available.
Franz Fuder began their education at Berufsbildende Schule Technik 2 Ludwigshafen in 1979, where they obtained their Abitur/ A-Level in electronics in 1982. Franz then went on to pursue a Master Degree in Chemistry at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 1982 to 1989. During this time, their field of study focused on Technical Chemistry with a specialization in heterogeneous catalysis. Franz Fuder continued their studies at KIT and obtained a Ph.D. from 1989 to 1992, with their research focusing on the examination of heterogeneous catalysed reactions' kinetics.
