Maxim Aksenov has extensive work experience in the field of geology and reservoir engineering. Maxim started their career as a Drilling Supervisor at TyumenPromGeophysics in 2004. In 2006, they joined TNK-BP as a Senior Specialist in the Geology and Reservoir Engineering Department, and over the years, they took on various roles including Deputy Director and Head of Modeling and Data Base Division. From 2013, they worked at Rosneft (JSC "ROSPAN International") as the Deputy General Director and Acting Chief Geologist. Prior to that, they worked as a Researcher at the Institute of Oil and Gas Geology, Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch from 2002 to 2005.
Maxim Aksenov began their education at Novosibirsk State University (NSU) in 1999, where they studied Oil & Gas Geology. Maxim completed their degree in this field in 2005.
