Mikhail Fedotov has a diverse work experience in the geophysics field. Mikhail started their career as a Chief of Division at Central Geophysical Expedition in 2007 and then worked as a Senior Geophysicist at Schlumberger from 2008 to 2010. Mikhail later joined TNK-BP Management as a Manager from 2009 to 2013, with a role transition to Senior Expert for a short period from March to May 2013. Mikhail then served as the Manager of Geology at RN-Arctic-Shelf for a short period from June to November 2013, before being appointed as the Chief Specialist at Rosneft from November 2013 to July 2014. Following this, they joined Total as a Senior Geophysicist from July 2014 to August 2015. Currently, Mikhail is working at Rosneft as an Exploration Project Manager, where they have undertaken various responsibilities including exploration and appraisal of oil and gas fields, forming exploration programs, and monitoring seismic strategies. Mikhail is also actively involved in conducting tender procedures, implementing advanced technologies, and assessing the prospects of new areas. Additionally, Mikhail is a member of the scientific and technical council of the company in geophysics.
Mikhail Fedotov attended the Russian State Geological Prospecting University named after Sergo Ordzhonikidze from 1992 to 1997, where they studied and graduated as a Geophysicist. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued higher education at the Geneva Graduate Institute from 1997 to 2001, specializing in Civil Rights law.
