Raymond Sullivan has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. Raymond started as a Research Assistant at the University of San Diego, where they performed research for three different labs. Raymond then became a Laboratory Technician and Teaching Assistant at the same university. In 2014, they became a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Riverside, where they developed a new method for the functionalization of alcohols using cobalt photocatalysts. In 2017, they became a Junior Organic Chemist at Intelligent Optical Systems, Inc., where they conducted research focused on the incorporation of fluorescent sensing materials into a polymer matrix for fiber optics and pioneered the design and synthesis of a fluorescein-based chemical sensor to monitor pH changes in biomedical devices. In 2018, they became a Chemical Sales Consultant at Redox. Most recently, they have been a Technical Sales Representative at Ross Organic, an Azelis Company since 2020.

Raymond Sullivan attended the University of San Diego College of Arts and Sciences from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Chemistry. Raymond then went on to the University of California, Riverside, where they obtained a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from 2014 to 2016.
