Kalai Arudchelvan

Kalai Arudchelvan has a diverse work experience in software development and product verification. They began their career as a Software Developer at IDSystems (Pvt.) Ltd in Sri Lanka in 2002, where they developed software for a year before moving on to British College of Applied Studies in 2004. At the college, they served as both a Software Developer and a Lecturer until 2006 when they joined Experica as a Software Developer.

In 2007, Kalai joined Nanometrics Inc as a Software Design Verification Engineer, where they were responsible for testing web-based applications and real-time embedded software. They developed and updated test plans, test matrixes, test scenarios, and test cases. Kalai also executed test cases, reported and tracked defects, investigated bugs, and verified bug fixes. They performed various types of testing including Functional, GUI, Regression, System Integration, User Acceptance, Configuration, and content testing. Additionally, they investigated customer problems and suggested workarounds and monitored performance of long-term test beds.

Kalai's most recent position is with Ross Video, where they started as a Product Verification Specialist in 2014 and later became a Senior Product Verification Specialist in December 2021. No end dates are provided for their roles at Ross Video, indicating that they are still currently employed at the company.

Kalai Arudchelvan completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Jaffna from 1992 to 1996. Later, from 2003 to 2006, Kalai obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Peradeniya.
