Owen Wattley

Owen Wattley has extensive work experience in the field of software development and DevOps. Owen started their career at Syscom PLC in 2006 as a Software Developer, where they worked until 2010. Following that, they joined Audley Travel and held various roles including Web Developer, Senior Web Developer, Web Development Manager, and Web DevOps Lead from 2010 to 2022. Currently, they work as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Rotageek, starting in 2023.

Owen Wattley obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of Southampton between 2002 and 2005. Prior to that, they attended King Edward VI College in Stourbridge from 2000 to 2002. Owen completed their high school education at Leasowes High School from 1995 to 2000.

Additionally, Owen has achieved several certifications. In December 2022, they obtained the Microsoft Azure Developer Associate certification from Microsoft. Owen also earned the Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert certification in the same month. In January 2023, Owen received the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (002) certification from HashiCorp. Lastly, in May 2023, they obtained the Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification from The Linux Foundation.
