Muhammad Asif J.

Muhammad Asif J. has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Muhammad Asif is currently working as the Director of Ground Operations at Rotana Jet. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Business Opportunity Promoters since 2017. Muhammad has also worked as a Senior Project Manager in Airline Operations at Iraqi Airways in 2016 and as the Director of Ground Operations & Commercial at Global Jet from 2012 to 2016. Muhammad Asif held the position of Director of Ground Operations & Security at Prestige Jet from 2009 to 2012 and Operations and Security Manager at Al Rais Cargo Airlines from 2004 to 2009. In addition, Muhammad has worked in various other roles in aviation companies such as Rus Aviation, Air Arabia, and Hawk Executive Jet Transport LLC. Before their career in the aviation industry, they worked as an Air Traffic Controller Assistant/Pseudo Pilot at the Government of Dubai, Department of Civil Aviation - Engineering Projects Division.

Muhammad Asif J. completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on International Business/Trade/Commerce from the University of Karachi between 1995 and 1997. Prior to this, they attended Cambridge High School from 1991 to 1993, where they pursued A level studies in Business/Commerce, General. Muhammad Asif'searlier education took place at Our Own English High School, where they completed their Matriculation in the Science stream from 1978 to 1990.

In addition to their formal education, Muhammad Asif J. has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2001, they obtained an FAA Flight Dispatcher License from the Federal Aviation Administration. Later in 2005, they obtained a GCAA Flight Dispatcher License from the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority. In 2006, they obtained an AVSEC PM - Aviation Security Professional Management certification from The International Civil Aviation Organization. Most recently, in 2021, they completed the Nominated Postholder Training Course from IACT - International Aviation Consulting & Training.
