Al Longfield has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Al started their career as a Senior Consultant at KPMG Peat Marwick, where they advised clients on financing needs and executed multiple business valuation engagements. Al then moved on to RBC Capital Markets, where they became the Director of the Networking and SAN groups, responsible for originating and closing fee business. After that, Al worked at Canaccord Genuity as a Principal & Consultant, focusing on communications infrastructure investment banking and closing transactions worth $240 million. Al then joined Talon Partners as the President & General Manager, overseeing domestic and international operations and successfully executing a turnaround for the company. Currently, Al is a Managing Director at Roth Capital Partners.

Al Longfield obtained a Bachelor of Science in Finance & accounting from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1993. Al then pursued an MBA in Analytical Finance at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 1995 to 1997. Al also holds certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), which they obtained from the State of Illinois in September 1993, and as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), acquired in 1996. Al completed their high school education at Lake Park High School from 1985 to 1989.
