Latifa Greche

Phenotyping Computer Vision Scientist at Rothamsted Research

Latifa Greche has extensive work experience in the field of computer vision and data science. In 2014, they completed an internship at HOPE3K, where they developed and tested a real-time facial movement tracking mobile application using Java and Android OS.

From 2016 to 2016, Latifa worked as a researcher at the Erasmus Mundus Programme, focusing on incorporating emotions into rational thinking for agents. latifa studied and compared methods such as template matching and deep neural networks for multi-class data.

Starting in 2018, Latifa completed a development internship at ESIEE PARIS, where they developed and evaluated a computer vision pipeline. latifa'swork involved preprocessing data, extracting features, and performing classification. latifa also contributed to improving the Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) classifier by analyzing the relationship between data classes.

From 2015 to 2020, Latifa worked as a data scientist researcher at the Faculté des Sciences et Techniques de Fès. latifa'sresponsibilities included parametric study of machine learning and deep learning algorithms for applications in computer vision, natural language processing, and signal processing. latifa collected and preprocessed data, as well as reduced data dimensions.

Latifa also gained teaching experience as a part-time teacher at EIGSI - École d'ingénieurs généralistes from 2021 to 2022, and at Université Euro-Méditerranéenne de Fès from 2022 to 2022.

Currently, Latifa is employed as a Phenotyping Computer Vision Scientist at Rothamsted Research since April 2022.

Latifa Greche completed their education at various institutions. From 2012 to 2014, they attended Faculté des Sciences et Techniques de Fès, where they obtained a Master's degree in Systems Microelectronics for Telecommunications and Industrial Computing. latifa then pursued their Doctorate degree in Artificial Intelligence at the same institution from 2015 to 2019.

In 2016, Latifa Greche spent a semester as a researcher at Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University), specifically focusing on Artificial Intelligence.

Additionally, they obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2023, they became a certified Artec 3D Scanning Specialist from Central Scanning. In 2021, Latifa completed the Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning certification from Coursera. latifa also obtained certifications in Natural Language Processing and Deep Learning Specialization from the website deeplearning.ai in 2021 and 2020, respectively. Moreover, they completed the Advanced Machine Learning and Signal Processing certification from Coursera in 2020.
