Executive Assistant, Science Director at Rothamsted Research

Sheila is Executive Assistant to the Science Director for Protecting Crops and the Environment. Before joining Rothamsted Research in 2004, she worked in a small building company and later for a large multinational company. Sheila has many years of experience arranging seminars and meetings, taking minutes, organizing travel and diaries, and assisting directors, heads of departments, and research scientists. She currently supports and assists all members of the strategic area, including research staff, students, and visiting workers. The smooth running of the strategic area is essential for the scientists to meet their objectives. Sheila is very versatile, and helpful and enjoys taking on new tasks and challenges, including helping to run two international scientific meetings in 2013 and 2015.
