Alan Cain MA has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Alan began their career in the British Army as a Lance Corporal and served for seven years. After leaving the army, they joined G4S as a Business Manager and later became an Operations Support Manager. Alan then worked for ISS Facility Services UK as an Operations Manager before transitioning to Response Security Training Limited as a Security Consultant. Alan then worked as the Head of Security at the University of Leeds and later at The Manchester Metropolitan University. Most recently, they held the role of EPRR Manager at NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care. Presently, they are working as the Chief Steward for Rotherham United Football Club.
Alan Cain MA has a Master's degree in Intelligence and Security Studies from The University of Salford. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Psychology from the University of Hull. Alan also completed their A Levels in Psychology (B), Sociology (B), and Government and Politics (D) at London South East Colleges. Additionally, Alan has obtained several certifications, including the HEPRR (Health Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response) Award from the Royal Society for Public Health in July 2023, the Level 3 Award in Education and Training from the NOCN Group in August 2016, the Level 3 Award in the Delivery of Conflict Management Training from the NOCN Group in August 2016, and the Business Continuity Management BCI Diploma from Buckinghamshire New University in July 2016.
