Federico Ghirardelli is a highly skilled AI/ML engineer with extensive experience in natural language processing and deep learning. Currently serving as the Lead AI/ML Engineer at Rothesay since May 2025, Federico previously held the role of NLP Data Scientist at Shell, focusing on fine-tuning LLMs and consulting on AI capabilities for vendor selection. As Co-Founder and Head of AI at DeepVibes, Federico contributed to winning an innovative AI prototype for dementia care at the World JAIN Challenge 2022. Additional experience includes co-founding Deary, where a B2C app achieved over 200,000 downloads, and developing ML pipelines for various applications. Federico holds a Master's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from Università degli Studi di Padova and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Ferrara.
