Karl Bettles

Karl Bettles has extensive experience in the field of IT security and cyber security. Karl'smost recent role was as the Global Head of IT Security at Rothschild & Co starting in 2022. Prior to that, they held positions such as Head of Cyber Security and IT Operations at Admiral Money and Head of Cyber Security at Admiral Financial Services. Karl also worked at PwC UK as a Cyber Security Senior Manager and Cyber Security Manager. Earlier in their career, they held various roles in information security management at companies such as Associated British Ports, Principality Building Society, and Consumer Focus. Karl also has experience as a Director at Mesolith UK Ltd and as an Operations Manager at Centricom. Karl started their career as an IT Manager at Target Group.

Karl Bettles completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Information Technology from the University of Wales in the years 1999 to 2002. Karl also obtained several certifications, including the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) from (ISC)² in 2019, the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon in 2017, and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2012.
