Director Of Finance at Rotman Commerce Women in Business

Chelsea Kim is currently serving as the Director of Finance and a Conference Committee Member for Rotman Commerce Women in Business since March 2023. Additionally, Chelsea has taken on the role of Math Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto for the MAT133 course, specializing in Calculus and Linear Algebra for Commerce, starting in September 2023. Previous experience includes a Finance and Process Improvement Internship at Empire Life from May 2024 to August 2024 and working as a Guest Service Representative at Delta Hotels by Marriott Kingston Waterfront from May 2023 to August 2023. Chelsea is pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce with a focus on Finance and Economics at Rotman Commerce, University of Toronto, set to graduate in May 2026, and has plans to study at the University of Mannheim in the fall of 2024. Chelsea also holds an International Baccalaureate Diploma from September 2020 to June 2022 and an Ontario Secondary School Diploma from Kingston Secondary School.

Rotman Commerce Women in Business aims to unite young female leaders interested in business by offering equal opportunities. Through mentoring, skill building, and networking events we promote accessibility, inclusivity, and solidarity. ​ Rotman Commerce Women in Business'​ mission is to aid in the personal and professional development of young women and to empower them with confidence to succeed in the business world. ​ Our mission for the 2020-2021 year is to host innovative and educational events that will help individuals develop skills that are essential to their success. Our events will help them prepare for interviews, teach them how to network and provide them with useful skills that they can use inside and outside of the classroom.
