Thomas Kipp

Thomas Kipp is currently the Leiter Entwicklung at ROTORCOMP VERDICHTER GmbH since August 2023. Prior to this role, Thomas served at Knorr-Bremse Rail Vehicle Systems from February 2013 to August 2023, where responsibilities included leading air supply component and innovation development as Fachgebietsleiter Entwicklung. This involved overseeing new and ongoing developments for air supply systems, including compressors and air dryers, along with managing development measures related to series support, cost optimization, and quality improvement. Thomas has also held various positions at Knorr-Bremse, including Teamleiter and Projektleiter, focusing on the advancement of oil-free compressors. Earlier experience includes a role as Senior Consultant at ID Consult GmbH, involvement in product development in multiple industries, as well as academic work as Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Technische Universität Hamburg and project leadership at IGEL AG. Thomas Kipp holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich.
