Dr. Benedict Kemper

Dr. Benedict Kemper has a diverse work experience in the field of chemistry and pharmaceuticals. Dr. Benedict is currently working as a Project Manager for Formulation Development at Rottendorf Pharma since October 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Scientist - Chemist in Peptide Synthesis at Corden Pharma International GmbH from February 2018 to October 2022.

Before joining Corden Pharma, Dr. Kemper worked as a Research Associate and Postdoctoral Fellow at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. Dr. Benedict was involved in scientific research, project proposal writing, and publications. Dr. Benedict carried out their postdoctoral research in the field of Physical Chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sebastian Seiffert from October 2017 to February 2018. Before that, they completed their Ph.D. in Chemistry, specializing in Organic Chemistry, supervised by Prof. Dr. Pol Besenius. During their Ph.D., they gained expertise in (Metal) Organic Synthesis, Supramolecular Polymerization, and various analytical techniques.

Dr. Kemper's academic journey started at Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, where they worked as a Research Assistant and Ph.D. candidate from February 2014 to February 2015 under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Pol Besenius. As part of their doctoral research, they developed skills in Organic Synthesis, Supramolecular Polymerization, and HPLC analysis.

In addition to their academic and industrial experiences, Dr. Kemper had a short-term internship at Evonik in 2012, where they gained practical experience in research and development.
