Conny Braams leads Unilever’s transformation into a future-fit, purpose-led, digitised organisation. She joined Unilever as a marketing trainee in 1990, and has held various marketing, customer development, communications and general management roles across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Conny led the region’s digital rewire and marketing transformation in her roles as executive vice-president Middle Europe and general manager Benelux.
In 2020, Conny was recognised in De Volkskrant’s Top 200 Most Influential People, Campaign’s Power 100, Marketing Week’s Top 100 Marketers, and Provoke’s Influence 100. She was also named Adformatie Person of the Year in 2019 and Top Female Executive in the Netherlands in 2006.
Conny is on the advisory boards of the Kröller-Müller Museum and RSM. She has also served as non-executive board director of Heineken Netherlands, and vice-chair of Dutch employers’ federation VNO-NCW. She holds a master degree in health care administration and an MBA from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
