Monique Donders has more than 20 years' experience in the world of finance, reaching her current role of Country Manager in the Netherlands for Blackrock in 2017 after joining the firm in 2015. Prior to BlackRock, she was Robeco's Head of Risk Management from 2002 until 2015, alongside a role as Professor of Risk Management at Maastricht University. She has also held positions at McPierson, IRIS and Erasmus University.
Outside her principal roles, she has been a member of the Supervisory Boards of Pensioenfonds Zorg & Welzijn and the APG Treasury Centre, and is an external advisor to pension funds of ING and KLM.
Monique holds an MSc in Econometrics and a PhD in Finance from Erasmus University (EUR).
