Jim Horan is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the food service industry. As CEO of Blue Plate since August 1983, Horan has led the company through significant growth, transitioning from a small catering operation to a prominent player in the market. In addition to Blue Plate, Horan serves as CEO of Round The Table Hospitality, which was established to further expand the vision for Blue Plate. Horan also oversees Applause Food Services, providing hospitality services for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Center, and acts as Managing Partner at The Park Grill at Millennium Park. Horan's educational background includes a BA in Psychology from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, an MSW in Clinical Social Work from the University of Illinois Chicago, and a foundational college prep education from Fenwick.
