Roundabout Theatre
Alix Curnow is a dedicated teaching artist and curricular lead with Roundabout Theatre Company since January 2022, where Alix facilitates creative opportunities for New York public school students in collaboration with professional theatre artists. Current roles also include an education apprentice at Bright Artists Management and prior experience as an actor for Netflix's 'Uncoupled' and as a production assistant. Alix has held various positions in theatre and journalism, including internships with the Davis Shakespeare Festival and Lookingglass Theatre Company, along with contributions to The Michigan Daily, where Alix served as a statement columnist and community culture writer. Alix holds a degree in Drama from the University of Michigan and has studied at Queen Mary University of London, further exemplifying a commitment to arts education and community engagement. Alix is a recipient of the Stanford Lipsey and Rick Freeman Outstanding Journalism in the Arts Scholarships.
