Cristina Angeles

Cristina Angeles is an accomplished theatre professional with extensive experience in directing, teaching, and artistic leadership. Currently serving as an Associate Artist at Roundabout Theatre Company since September 2019, Cristina has also held roles such as Directing Fellow and Assistant Director for various notable productions. As the Founding Artistic Director of Checkmark Theatre Company, Cristina focuses on amplifying underrepresented artists and their narratives. In addition to directing works like Eliana Pipes's DREAM HOU$E, Cristina teaches Acting I at the New York Film Academy and has supported Tony-winning playwright Suzan-Lori Parks at NYU. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and Psychology from Barnard College, Cristina brings a diverse skill set and a passion for innovative storytelling to the theatre community.
