Michael White is an experienced attorney currently overseeing the land use and economic development practice at Rouse Frets White Goss Gentile Rhodes, P.C. since June 2000. In addition to this role, Michael has served as General Counsel for the Jackson County Sports Complex Authority since January 2000, where responsibilities include negotiating leases with prominent sports teams and addressing operational issues. Michael is also an accomplished author of works on Missouri Land Use Law and Missouri Economic Development Law. With a background as a jazz musician, Michael leads a quartet in the Kansas City area, diversifying professional endeavors. Previously, Michael held significant roles in public office, including County Executive of Jackson County, Missouri, and President of the Missouri Association of Counties, and was involved in landmark legal cases related to tax increment financing during tenure as Lead Counsel at Polsinelli. Michael holds a JD from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and a BA in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
