Matthew Fortson

Matthew Fortson is an experienced professional in Quality and Regulatory affairs, currently serving as VP of Quality & Regulatory at Route 92 Medical since October 2020. Prior to this, Matthew held various leadership roles, including Director of Quality & Regulatory at Qool Therapeutics, Inc., where significant accomplishments included successful ISO 13485 audits and managing 3rd party software compliance. With a strong background in regulatory submissions, including 510k filings, Matthew has consistently reduced costs and improved quality management systems throughout a career spanning multiple companies, including CapsoVision, Topcon Medical Laser Systems, Optovue, Diagnostic Biosystems, and Abbott Vascular Devices. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from California State University - East Bay.
