Augusto Pedroza

Augusto Pedroza has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Augusto currently works at Route as the Head Of Mobile / Director of Engineering, where they are responsible for crafting and executing large-scale implementation roadmaps and leading efforts to enable mobile experimentation. Augusto has also held the role of Senior Engineering Manager at Route, where they managed several teams and delivered high value in different segments of the business.

Prior to their time at Route, Augusto Pedroza worked at Etsy as a Senior Software Engineer II, where they migrated the gradle infrastructure to Kotlin and developed new plugins to support CI/CD efforts. Augusto also implemented several new features in the buyer app.

Before Etsy, they worked at Everbridge as the Principal Mobile Engineer / Android Development Lead, modernizing legacy Android apps and refining and implementing new features for chat mobile apps. Augusto also detected and fixed performance bottlenecks in critical scenarios.

Augusto Pedroza also has experience working at Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer II, where they focused on software development. Augusto also worked at Google as a Software Developer during their time as a student, where they implemented a solution for Coreboot to boot Windows XP.

Augusto Pedroza has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. In addition to their degree, they have obtained the following certifications: a National D Coaching License from the U.S. Soccer Federation in August 2020, and OKR Foundations from Ally.io, a Microsoft Company, in July 2022.
