Matheus Lourenço has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Matheus is currently working as a Software Engineer at Route since March 2022. Prior to that, they were employed at TheoremOne from June 2021 to March 2022, where they worked on two projects involving Ruby on Rails as the main technology. One project was a startup called Kilter, where they were the sole backend developer and responsible for new features, database management, docker, and AWS. The other project involved backend development for controlling Apple Stores worldwide.
Before joining TheoremOne, Matheus worked as a Software Engineer at enjoei for a brief period from April 2021 to June 2021. Matheus decided to explore new experiences after spending 2.5 years at the company.
Prior to that, Matheus worked at M4U from May 2018 to March 2021. Initially, they served as an intern and worked on LIO, a Smart POS Android application. This position provided him with exposure to Android development, microservices architecture, continuous integration, software testing, Jenkins, Scrum, and Kanban. Later, they transitioned to a backend-focused team responsible for the prepaid mobile payment solution for Vivo.
Matheus started their career as an intern at Apple Developer Academy | PUC-Rio from June 2016 to December 2017. During their time there, they gained experience as an iOS developer and worked on various projects alongside professionals from different areas of expertise. The academy also provided him with valuable insights into app creation, product development, user experience, and market dynamics.
Matheus Lourenço completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro from 2014 to 2021. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in "Testes Automatizados com Práticas Ágeis" from Knowledge21 in January 2019, and "Kanban Oficial LKU" from Knowledge21 in November 2018.
