Tony Speare

Tony Speare has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their current position as a Senior Analytics Engineer at Route. Prior to this, Tony worked at Amazon, where they held multiple roles including Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, Amazon Technical Academy Participant, and Business Analyst. During their time at Amazon, they implemented data pipelines for various metrics, managed a team, and improved reporting and visualization data pipelines.

Before joining Amazon, Tony worked at JetBlue as a Senior Analyst, where they led a team and developed data models to improve operational metrics and measure customer sentiment. Tony also designed cost-saving and revenue-generating proposals and launched analytics training for the company.

Tony also has experience working as a Program Assistant at The Farley Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Northwestern University, where they mentored student-run companies and organized entrepreneurship conferences.

Furthermore, Tony worked at Hagerty Consulting as an Analyst and Project Manager, where they managed a finance team, analyzed emergency costs, and developed grant proposals.

Tony's work experience also includes roles at Organizing for America as a Field Organizer, The Cliff Lodge at Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort as a Guest Services Agent, and The Lutheran World Federation Burundi as a Program Coordinator and Visiting Fellow.

Additionally, Tony worked as a Research Analyst at Harvard University, where they analyzed large data sets and supported various research projects.

Tony Speare attended Juan Diego Catholic High School from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Tony then pursued higher education, enrolling at Harvard University from 2006 to 2010. During their time at Harvard, Tony earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) magna cum laude degree in Sociology. In 2008, they also had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), focusing on African Studies and Swahili.
