Takafumi Endo

Takafumi Endo has worked in various roles in the finance and technology industries. Takafumi began their career in 2009 as a Financial Analyst at Development Bank of Japan Inc., where they facilitated financial restructuring of companies, developed a new rule regarding self-evaluation of loan portfolio of structured finance, evaluated particular facilities and assets as collateral after due diligence, and invested in equity interest of SPC which was founded to acquire or develop real estate. In 2012, they joined Dream Incubator as a Business Producer, conducting consulting projects for growth strategy and new business development mainly focused on IT, Automobile, Clean Tech for major Japanese high-tech companies, and having a key role in global market research concerning IT start-ups. In 2014, they founded and became the CEO of Smarby, Inc. In 2019, they held positions as Entrepreneur In Residence at both Delight Ventures and DeNA, and Board Director (Chief Product Officer and Chief Marketing Officer) at STRIPE DEPARTMENT CO.,LTD. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Chief Executive Officer of ROUTE06, Inc.

Takafumi Endo attended Tohoku University from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. Takafumi then returned to Tohoku University from 2007 to 2009, where they earned a Master of Information Sciences in Financial Mathematics.
