Joel York has an extensive work experience in the software and SaaS industry. Joel began their career in 2000 as the Chief Marketing Officer and VP of Marketing, Product and Sales Ops at Passlogix, a cybersecurity software company. In 2003, they became the CMO and VP of Marketing at eMind, a SaaS compliance company. In 2004, they moved to Navis, a SaaS and software supply chain logistics company, as the CMO and VP of Marketing and Product. From 2008 to 2012, they served as the CRO and VP of Sales and Marketing at Xignite, a cloud API platform. Joel then joined Meltwater Group as the CMO and VP of Marketing and Product from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, they founded Markodojo, a SaaS marketing management company, and served as CEO until 2020. Joel was also a board member of Terapeak, a SaaS eCommerce analytics for SMBs, from 2014 to 2018. In 2018, they joined Accellion as the Chief Marketing Officer and in 2022, they became the Chief Marketing Officer at Route4Me, a SaaS and mobile last mile optimization company.
Joel York obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Caltech, followed by a Master of Science in Laser and Optical Engineering from Cornell University. Joel then completed an MBA in Business Strategy and Marketing from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
