Jacob Friedmann

Jacob Friedmann is an accomplished engineering leader with a comprehensive background in software development and team management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Rover.com since June 2017, Jacob leads the software engineering teams in Europe and has played a pivotal role in expanding Rover's engineering presence and developing key products. Previous leadership positions at Rover include Senior Engineering Manager and Group Engineering Lead, where Jacob focused on core booking experiences, trust and safety, and operations scalability. Prior experience includes roles at AddThis, where Jacob was a Principal Software Engineer, and at General Assembly, where Jacob taught Front-End Web Development and JavaScript Development. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Virginia.
