Alejandro Vazquez MSc has a diverse and extensive work experience. Alejandro currently holds the position of Chief Resident Engineer at WSP en España, working on Tenerife's Ring Road project. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Engineering at Rover Grupo. Their previous role was as the Design Manager for Züblin Scandinavia AB, where they worked on the E4-The Stockholm Bypass Project. Alejandro also worked at ÅF as a Dam Engineer, focusing on hydropower dams and utilizing software such as PLAXIS and CAD. Alejandro conducted their Master's thesis on dam safety at Vattenfall and completed their Master's in Civil Engineering at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Additionally, they worked as a Physics Teacher at Cambridge Education Group and as a Resident Engineer (Highways) at Egis. Alejandro started their professional career as a Hidrologia researcher at Universidad de La Laguna.
Alejandro Vazquez MSc obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Civil engineering and Hydrology from Universidad de La Laguna from 2003 to 2008. Later, they pursued an MBA in Construction Management from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. between 2008 and 2010. Alejandro continued their education at Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D., completing a Master's degree in Railway Engineering from 2011 to 2012. Alejandro further pursued a Master's degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering, from KTH Royal Institute of Technology between 2013 and 2015. Recently, they enrolled in Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. again and is currently obtaining a Master's degree in Tunnelling and Underground Structures from 2021 to 2022.
