Hanna Valkeapää-Nokkala

Hanna Valkeapää-Nokkala's work experience includes various roles in different companies. Hanna currently works as the Vice President of Transmedia at Rovio Entertainment Corporation. Prior to this, they served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Pyjama Films, a story-driven animation studio. Hanna was also a Partner at Hallituspartnerit Hame ry, a board professional company. Additionally, they were the CEO of Bängeri Oy, a Nordic consultancy specializing in the Gen Z demographic.

Before joining Bängeri Oy, Hanna held multiple roles at Rovio Entertainment Corporation, including Senior Director and Head of Brand Licensing, Head of Content, Senior Manager of YouTube and Streaming, and Manager of Content Distribution and Asset Management. Hanna was responsible for managing licensing and brand development, content distribution and partnerships, and YouTube and streaming teams.

Prior to Rovio, Hanna worked as a Business Development Manager at Lahti Region Development LADEC Ltd, where they focused on advising start-up and SME companies on digitalization, sales, marketing, and exports. Hanna also gained experience in the telecommunications industry, serving as a Business Manager and Product Manager at DNA Oyj, where they were involved in managing DNA TV services and entertainment products.

Earlier in their career, Hanna worked as an Entrepreneur and Head of Sales and Marketing at PR Plan, where they provided marketing, key account management, and consulting services for the ecological kids brand Nature Babycare. Hanna was also a Product Manager and Trade Marketing Coordinator at Warner Bros. Entertainment Finland Oy, where they planned and executed product campaigns for home entertainment products.

Hanna started their career as a Marketing and Sales Assistant at Universal Pictures.

Hanna Valkeapää-Nokkala completed their Mentoring program for Women in Leadership at Keskuskauppakamari - Chamber of commerce, Finland from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Lahti University of Applied Sciences from 2010 to 2013. Hanna also participated in an exchange program at Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2000 and completed practical training at El Corte Ingles through Universitat Ramon Llull in the same year. Hanna has a BBA in International Business Management and Logistics from Lahti University of Applied Sciences, which they completed from 1997 to 2000. Additionally, they had the opportunity to do an Erasmus exchange program at the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology in 1999.
