Jared Bauer

Jared Bauer has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jared is currently working as a Creative Team Lead at Rovio Entertainment Corporation since August 2021. Prior to that, they were a Content Consultant under their own company since February 2021.

Jared's notable work experience includes being the Co-Founder and Head of Content at Wisecrack from June 2013 to October 2020. During their time there, they built a successful digital media brand focused on Humanities Education, Critical Thinking, and Comedy. Jared managed YouTube channels, a Podcast Network, and an Online Publication, accumulating over 4 million followers and 600 million views across platforms.

Before starting Wisecrack, Jared worked as a Producer and Assistant Editor at Adjacent LA from September 2010 to June 2013. Jared played a key role in coordinating and producing various projects, including a pilot for the FX show Totally Biased with W Kamau Bell, Taco Bell commercials, and a viral short film featuring Elijah Wood and Mandy Moore.

Jared also worked as a Film Critic at NPR from January 2011 to May 2013.

Jared Bauer attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies.
