Katja Kivilahti

Katja Kivilahti is a senior data engineer at Rovio Entertainment Corporation. Katja has over eight years of experience in designing, implementing and maintaining ETL processes that provide financial data for daily reporting. In their current role, they is also responsible for designing and implementing a multi-tenant financial reporting solution. Katja has also been involved in supporting an eCPM based ad network yield optimization project. Since November 2015, they have been the tech lead for reporting integration in 3rd party financial and ad metrics.

Prior to joining Rovio, Katja worked as a senior software developer at Elisa, where they were responsible for Java development for the CRM. Katja also worked as a senior software developer at Sulake, where they did Java backend programming for the company's main product, Habbo Hotel. During their time at Sulake, they gained several years of experience with post production emergency response and maintaining the live product as a developer.

Katja started their career as a software developer at Quartal Financial Solutions AG, where they worked for three years. Katja then moved on to WapIT, Ltd., where they worked as a software developer for one year before joining Rovio.

Katja Kivilahti has a university education from both the University of Helsinki and the University of Oulu. Katja studied at the University of Helsinki from 1996 to 2001, and at the University of Oulu from 1994 to 1996.
