Vladimir Chernov has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry, starting with their current role as Lead Developer at Rovio Entertainment Corporation since September 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Game Developer at the same company from November 2018 to September 2020. Before joining Rovio, Vladimir worked at Sulake from April 2014 to November 2018, where they held the positions of Client Lead and Software Developer. Vladimir also has experience as a Researcher at the University of Vaasa from February 2012 to April 2014. Additionally, Vladimir has worked as a Game Server Programmer at Bad Rabbit Games in 2011. Prior to that, they worked as a Programmer at IT Territory Nord from August 2007 to February 2011, and at AlterLab Game Studio from November 2006 to June 2007.

Vladimir Chernov is a PhD student in Automation at the University of Vaasa. Vladimir holds a MSc degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University, as well as a BSc degree in the same field from the same institution. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in "Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1" from Coursera.
